Oh, Blah Dee, Oh, Blah Dah

Here's just a little bit of what we have been doing lately.

This is Corgin playing in one of the cabinets that we helped put in. He thought it was his own personal play house and moved in all his toys. He was cracking us up.

We also found a way to save in this economy. We traded in our 2007 Jeep Compass for this 2008 Dodge Nitro. The Nitro is bigger and we save almost $200 a month. It doesn't have all the features that the Compass did, but we are happy with our purchase and the money we are saving every month.

Well, we have a Halloween party this weekend so I'll be posting pics of that soon. Corgin is excited to be a monkey for Halloween and use his pumpkin flashlight that he got from Grandma Kristi.

What month is it again?

So, this is what we woke up to this morning. I've seen a few blogs of some of my friends that live a little further north have this a few days ago, but was still a little suprised to see it here.

Clint also shot his first antelope. He was excited about it and glad that it was bigger than the one my brother shot earlier this season.

Corgin likes to wear his sunglasses. Every time he wears them he says "cool dude!" Here he is showing the camera how he is a cool dude.

Corgin's cousin Addi came to visit all the way from Florida. He just loves Addi. They were so excited to see each other that they had to hold each others hands. It was so stinkin' cute!

Corgin's new favorite thing is to use all sorts of things as hats. We were eating dinner tonight and he started saying, "hat, hat." Clint and I looked over and sure enough he had found another thing to be his hat. Some of his other "hats" today included a bucket and a wagon. Silly kid!

Happy Camper

Sorry this is long. Here are some pics from the Robertson Family Camp-out and a few other randoms of my cute little boy.

We went camping at Big Eight Mile Campsite near Leadore, ID. It was beautiful, but soooo cold. Since I couldn't get Corgin to stay by the campfire like the rest of us to stay warm I made him at least wear his hood while he was running around picking up sticks and rocks.

If you were to enlarge this pic you may notice that Corgin's face is a mess. He managed to get dirt stuck in his eyebrows and all over his face. He is such a boy!
He loved going for rides with his Great Grandpa in his Razor.

He also got to play with some of his cousins and some puppies. Here he is with Spencer and Taelor and puppies Paisley and Wally.

To keep Corgin warm during the night, he slept in my sleeping bag with me. One night it was in the 30's. Like I mentioned before, soooo cold.

In the mornings, Corgin loved to carry around his sippy cup of hot chocolate. It made me happy because then his hands would get warm for a few minutes at least. There were quite a few tree stumps around camp and Corgin had to find each one and stand on it. It was cute.

Finally, Corgin is asleep, and Paisley too.

If you look closely you can see the hail on the ground. It hailed on us three times while we were up there, along with lots of rain and clouds, hence why we were cold.

This is the view of the mountains where we were camping as we left. There are more behind the huge dark cloud. We decided that we made it out just in time.

This was the view away from our campsite. We were happy to see some sunshine!

We had a great time camping and can't wait until next year's family camp-out. Thanks to all who helped and put things together.

Here are some cute pics of my adorable little boy. He loves riding the spring horse at my mom's house. He's so spoiled there that my mom has made the horse part of the permanent furniture now.

This is Corgin's first time to eat corn on the cob. He loved it and ate one and a half of them. He's pretty thorough for a little guy.

And the livin' is easy!

Here are some pictures of what we have been up to lately.

Corgin's grandma got him a little chair that he just loves. He carries it around with him and when he wants to sit and look at something he plops it down and has a seat. One morning he wanted to look out the window and I had to get some pictures.

Corgin has also been able to help us out on the Farm and ride in the tractors. He loves tractors now and whenever he sees one he starts saying, "tractor, tractor, grandpa". They are building a house across the street from us and Corgin sees the backhoes and thinks they are tractors. I've never seen him stay still for very long, but he will stand at his window watching them dig the foundation for quite a while. He's such a boy!

Clint and I had a few days we were able to get all our flower gardens planted. We feel that our yard almost feels like a yard now. We just can't wait for the grass to fill in and not look so patchy.

Trisha and Danny came to visit and we were able to take a day to go boating. We all had a blast.

So, we've been having a good summer so far. We are now looking forward to camping in August.

Fourth of July

We had a fun and memorable fourth of July. To read about it and see some videos go to www.grammakristi.blogspot.com and check out the videos she mentions on youtube. After all the fun and excitement, Clint and I came home to find that we had some flooding in our area as well. Our house wasn't affected, but a lot of our ward members were. And most everyones gardens are ruined from all the hail. Clint and I thought they may not do the fireworks, but they did. So, after we put Corgin to bed (he was tired from playing so hard all day) Clint put some chairs up on the roof and we climbed up and watched the fireworks. Fun fourth for us, but we are praying for all those whose homes were flooded.

kEEpiNg CooL!

We've finally had some warm weather and it has quit raining! So, today we went outside to play (and work) and enjoy the nice weather. This was Corgin's favorite thing today. We found this little blow up pool at Smith's for $10 with the tube and ball included. I thought it was pretty cool and so did Corgin.

He loved the tube. He would ask to get out and then as soon as we got him out he would climb back in. He had so much fun.

He also liked playing with his little watering can. That kept him entertained for quite a while.

Here he is talking to me while I was taking his picture. He's either saying, "water", "fishy", or "bubble". He just kept saying that over and over.

And about the work we did, (and when I say we I mean mostly Clint - he's such a good man) we planted three trees and filled in all the places where we had canyons in our yard from all the rain washing out and then planted more grass. All and all it was a good day.

FiNaLLy!!!

We've been keeping busy since we got home from Palmyra. Here's some things we've been up to.

We sent Luke off to Orlando, Florida on a mission (okay, so he's not going to be in Orlando until Monday, he's at the MTC now).

This is at the Temple when Luke got his endowment. My parents were able to have all of their children there and we were all so happy for Luke!

This is the day we took Luke to the MTC. The last picture with Luke for a couple of years. It was also Clint's birthday. Clint told Luke that he was giving him the best present by leaving, but really we will all miss him.

Traveling to the MTC seemed to wear out Corgin because the next day he was super tired. He never lays down unless he has to, but here he is just lying on a box on the table.

There is even a slobber mark left where he had his head laid down.

We also took some time to plant our grass. It has almost been two weeks and this is what is popping up. We were happy to see it, with all the rain we've had lately we thought a lot of it may have washed away.

This is our side front yard, and yes, those are tire tracks - someone dared to drive on our property just a few days after we planted. We were a little upset.
