Last, but not Least, Here's December!

We had a great December. Here are the pictures to prove all the fun we had.

 

Link had to try on the Santa hat when we were putting up decorations.

We were hanging out at my parents house and Eisley discovered the Sit'n'Spin. It is now her new favorite toy. Corgin showed her how to use it and they played together on it for quite some time.

We also got to meet our new niece, Saydie. Here is Corgin holding her.

 Link got a turn to hold her too.

Corgin and Link love to draw. One night when I went to bed I found this on the shelves by my bed.

Clint had one too.

In the morning, I found that Eisley had one as well in her room.

As did Linkoln. Corgin drew us all hearts with our initials in them. He can be so sweet.

The kids were very intrigued once presents started showing up under the tree.

Grandma Kristi did the 12 days of Christmas again this year. I think that one of the kids' favorites was the fort kit. Here they are enjoying it one day.

We also got to go to Corgin's kindergarten Christmas program.  I tried a few times to upload a video of him, but it isn't working, but he was cracking us up. He knew all the words to every song, but he would not do any actions. We asked him why afterwards and he said he didn't want too. Also, he was doing all he could to not look at us and if he did we could see he was trying so hard not to smile. Later he told us that if he looked at us he started laughing, so he just wouldn't look at us. Anyway, he's the shorty on the second row between two girls in the black shirt, second from the right.

We managed to wear out Link a few times, but I had to get a picture of him sleeping with the seat belt across his face. Probably not very safe, but I wondered how he could sleep like that.

 Time to go see Christmas lights. The kids are excited! Except Eisley, she was a little sleepy.

Here's Christmas Eve. I made the shirt, skirt, and hair bow for Eisley for our Christmas Eve festivities.

 Christmas Eve jammies. The kids were pretty excited and were happy to pose silly when Grandma suggested it.

Santa came to visit. He even found us at Grandma and Grandpa's house. This is before the kids got to see it.

Link was still trying to wake up, but Corgin was excited about it. Again he was pulling his face when he is trying not to smile.

Time to open presents!

 The boys got Rock'em Sock'em Robots and love it. Eisley does too.

After opening gifts at Simonsons, it was off to my parents for more present opening. Somehow I managed to escape those festivities without any pictures (boo). But I did capture one of us at my Grandma Stander's house later Christmas Day. We were laughing about Eisley's little bum up in the air as she tried to get some toy out of the toy drawer. She eventually got it, but she fell in the drawer to do so.

We also made some nativities again this Christmas.

This is the one we made last year for Trisha and Danny. Clint cut out everything with his scroll saw and then we painted and glued them together. It took forever!

This is the one we made for Tanessa and Jake this year. Jacob had access to a laser cutter up at architecture school so he cut them all out for us, but we painted and glued them all, which still takes quite a few days. We also made one like this for Luke and Brianne this year. We really want one for us, but we always give them away.

 Then after Christmas, we had some Christmas money and a lack of good judgement and bought us a puppy. His name is Olly.

He's called a Morkie, a Maltese and Yorkie mix.

And this is just a random picture of Eisley playing on her pillow that she got from Grandma Merri for Christmas. She looks so grown up here. I don't know when she went from being my baby to being such a big girl. Times goes by way too quickly!

And that folks, was how our December went! It was eventful and full of fun and great celebrations. Now bring on the New Year!!!

Family Pictures

In September or October we managed to squeeze in some time for family pictures. My cousin, Courtney took them and did a great job. Check out her blog cpr.photography over on the right of my screen if you want to see more of her work. Here are a few of my favorites.

 

November

November came fast and left quickly. We managed to enjoy the first snow of the winter and of course, Thanksgiving.

Here are the boys playing out in the snow. This was like first thing in the morning. They were so excited to see that white stuff on the ground!

 We took a trip to Utah and while we were there we went shopping. Grandma Kristi helped Link find this adorable hat and jacket and this is Link asking if he could "pretty please have it".

 There seems to be a trend with us putting clothes on Link in stores and taking pictures. Hmmm.

 And how could we not love this little face. This is after Thanksgiving dinner and she was ready to get off her dress and run around at Grandma Merri's. In her bloomers and tights she looks like a little superhero, or something...maybe more like a little super-mischief-maker!

We had a nice, though swift, November. We were able to spend Thanksgiving at my Grandpa Robertson's and Grandma Carol's. Then we spent the next day at my parents with my siblings. I am so grateful for family. I love the time I get to spend with them whether it's a big holiday and tradition or if we are just hanging out watching TV, playing games, or having a nice Sunday dinner. I'm thankful to have the knowledge that I can be with them forever. Now, bring it on December!

The Rest of our October

Things were pretty eventful during our October. Here are a few pictures we took along the way.

 

Eisley is happy to wear her new clothes that she got for her birthday.

 The boys got to go for rides in the tractors one evening when the guys were finishing up some bailing. Corgin's tractor got away before I got a picture, but here is Link. He was a little nervous about it at first.

 After his ride, Corgin now thinks he knows everything about bailing hay.

 This is one of the best things to see, ever. I love when we wear them out enough to sleep in the car.

 Link got some money from his Grandma Kristi so that he could go pick out a new Halloween costume. He couldn't decide which one he liked best so he had me take pictures of him in the store so he could see how they looked on him.

 We made a visit to a pumpkin patch to pick pumpkins for carving. Here are my three little rascals amongst the many choices of pumpkins.

 The Primary was in charge of the Ward Halloween party, so I was busy planning and making assignments. We had a backdrop set up for parents to take pictures of their kids in their costumes. Here are my munchkins at the party (well, before the party when I was there to make sure all the food and everything was in order, then as the party was just about to start Link coughed so hard he threw up so I left Corgin with some neighbors and took Link and Eisley home. No party for us). And as you can see, Link chose a lion costume! As soon as he put it on he started roaring as loud as he could. He had to be in character.

 Still feeling a little sick, we made it to the Robertson family Halloween party. The favorite part for the boys...the pinata.

 Eisley tried to have some fun at the party as well, but she was one sad little witch most of the night. She too was not feeling so good.

 After waiting for what seemed like forever to these little ones, we finally carved pumpkins.

Here they are drawing out what they wanted carved into their pumpkins.

 Eisley was so happy to have her own.

 Corgin was all business.

 Link was too, with help from his Dad.

Corgin and Link with the finished products. Link's is the one with the mustache. Corgin's is the one with the really big hole for a mouth. Eisley's is the small one, Clint's the one with the wide toothy grin, and mine is the spider.

 Then in between the ward party and the pumpkin carving, the Primary had their sacrament program and I think once all was said and done, my body needed some rest and I too got sick. My kids were feeling better, however, so Clint took them up to his parents and they went trunk or treating on Halloween. Good thing Grandma Kristi always takes pictures.

They are all ready to go, my chicken, my Optimus Prime transformer, and my lion.

Such a crazy and fun October for us, but we really didn't let too much slow us down. With Halloween over, that means Christmas is just around the corner too. Time to start shopping!
