Fun and Fishing!

We are so excited that the weather has finally gotten nice. Corgin loves, loves, loves to play outside! He loves anything and everything he can do outside. He is also a great helper when there is work to be done outside.
Here he is enjoying a popsicle while playing on the trampoline.

Here is a little clip of him riding his bike. This was a couple weeks ago when he first got it, he now rides like a pro. He likes to wear his helmet too.

Linkoln just hangs out in the shade while Corgin is busy playing.

Sometimes he hangs out inside too.

He isn't always fond of picture taking.

On Saturday, we went to a ward party (our old ward in Inkom, where Clint's parents live). Here are some of the festivities we enjoyed.

Corgin got his face painted. I didn't know he could sit that still for that long, but I guess it can be done!

He asked for a snake. He thought it was pretty cool.

Link could care less. He just slept in his stroller.

There was a fish pond full of trout. The kids loved looking and touching the fish. Corgin is the one in the red shorts with feet up in the air.

Not only was it a pond to look at, but the kids got to go fishing in it. The only catch was that they had to use their bare hands. Corgin's age group was the first to go, and Corgin was the only one brave enough to go in.

Here Corgin is with a fish he caught (with the help of daddy of course).

One fish.

Nope, he got two fish and he was very proud.

Here is a little video of Corgin fishing. He had so much fun!

Linkoln's Blessing and our Life

Well, this last week has been a crazy one. We moved back into our house after living with Clint's parents while we rented out our house. Clint has been back to work, so we were happy that the lease was finally up. We also blessed little Link.

Family pic on blessing day.

Thanks to everyone who came and supported us. And thanks to those who helped us move and get our house and yard all ready. We appriciate you all.

Here are my little boys. Corgin just loves his little brother and loves to hold him.

Little Linkoln, he always looks so suprised in pictures.

Look at those adorable feet.

Here are a few things about my boys. After the blessing and lunch, Corgin was playing in his bedroom while Clint and I were relaxing on the couch. He comes out and gives me a big hug and tells me, "Thank you for taking care of me." What a sweet little boy. Moments like that make me think that the terrible two's may not be so terrible. Corgin is always cracking us up. And Linkoln is just an adorable little baby. He likes to give his daddy kisses and always watches his big brother. I've really been blessed with such a great family!

Little Linkoln

Tuesday, April 27, we welcomed Linkoln Paul Simonson to our family. He was 6 lbs 5 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. We are excited to have him here finally. Here are a few pictures of our new addition.

Look at all his hair. (no wonder my heartburn was terrible)

Our Little Trip

So, Clint and I didn't have to work a few days this week and Clint decided we needed to have a little family trip before the baby was born. He put it all together and away we went. We went to Salt Lake and stayed one night. Here are some pics of what we did on our little get away.

We took Corgin to "The Mayan". He loved watching the people dive into the water and do all sorts of tricks. The diver is kinda hard to see in the picture, but is by the lantern that is really bright.

Corgin also liked the food there.

Gotta love the sour cream mustache!

After we ate, we did a little shopping and then went back to the hotel to swim. I think that was Corgin's favorite part of our little trip. He loves being in the water, and he was pretty good at swimming (dog paddeling anyway) and keeping his head up, even without the tube.
This is just a cute picture I got of Corgin after we were done swimming and were getting ready for bed. We found a towel that was just his size.
Yesterday, we took Corgin to Temple Square. He loved seeing Angel Moroni on top of the SLC Temple. He also loved playing in the reflection pond. Here are some pics of my little man.

(Yes, I might have had some fun editing those pics)

The flowers were all in bloom and there were beautiful blossoms on the trees. The weather was perfect. Awesome day at Temple Square!

We had an enjoyable little trip and look forward to many more to come.

Easter Celebrations!

I know this is a week late, but I had left my camera at my mom's so I couldn't post any pics. Anyway, we had a nice Easter. We enjoyed listening to conference and spending time with family. Corgin loved looking for Easter eggs and his Easter basket.

Here is Corgin's basket before the Easter bunny hid it.

When Corgin got up, he was eager to see what the Easter bunny had brought him. He started by finding some eggs filled with goodies!

Then, he had to find his basket as well. He liked going through it and seeing all the fun stuff he got.

This is a felt "spuddy buddy" I made for him. The features velcro on and it was nice to have at church today to keep him busy for a few minutes. He was happy to get it.
We had a nice Easter and now we are just waiting to have this baby (okay, so I'm mostly the one waiting, and probably not very patiently either). And still to come: Corgin's bunk bed that Clint built him and some of Clint's other bathroom projects, also the quilt I'm attempting to make for Corgin's new bed. We're always staying busy.
As for a little update, Clint has been back working for the RR for the last few weeks, so we are hopeful it will stay steady. Also, we haven't heard from our renters if they want to buy our house, so we are hoping that when the lease is up in the end of May that we will be moving back into our house. Yay!
