What?!
I was going to post a long blog, since I'm way overdue. However, blogspot says that image uploads will be disabled due to maintenance. I guess you'll all have to wait. Sorry. You can blame it on blogspot.

Just Some Ramblings of a Mom
Here are a few names of some of Corgin's toys. He named them all by himself.
His tricycle: Mr. Blue Mountain Bike
His bicycle: Mr. Blue Green Mountain Bike
One of his stuffed animals: Mr. Choo-choo Train Bear
I love that they are all Mr. something or other. He cracks me up. Oh, there's also Mr. Burns, another stuffed animal that he got at the ER when he burned his arm, but he might have had a little help naming that one.
We took Corgin to the fair and on our way home he says to Clint and I: That was fun. I had a good day. Thank you for taking me to the fair.
That makes it all totally worth it. He is such a sweet little boy.
Here's how our potty training is going. Corgin is pretty good to go number one, however he is determined not to go number two in the toilet. The other day Clint went to check on him and he was hiding in his closet.
Clint: What are you doing?
Corgin: Go away dad.
Clint: Why?
Corgin: I'm making stinkies in my pants and I don't want to go in the toilet!
Then the child closed the closet door. He is so stubborn about it. My patience is starting to run out. Anyone have any advice?
Linkers has found his thumb, if only that would work in the middle of the night.

five things about linkoln
1. Linkoln is my little cuddlebug. He is always content when he is being held. When he is tired he just snuggles down in my arms or next to my neck (when I burp him and he falls asleep). I love it and hope it lasts a little longer.
5.Linkoln is pretty easily entertained. He loves to watch cartoons or play with his toys and will be happy with that stuff for quite a while. He also loves loves loves to watch Corgin.
Conversations with my Two Year Old
Corgin: Mom, I have to tell you something.
Me: Okay. What?
Corgin: I need . . . a snowmobile.

Me: Okay. What?
Corgin: I need . . . a snowmobile.
A few minutes later . . . . .
Corgin: Dad, I have to tell you something.
Clint: What?
Corgin: I need . . . a motorbike. A green one.
Clint: Really. Mom and Dad can't even afford to buy these things for ourselves, what makes you think we can buy one for you?
Corgin: Yeah, with money!
Clint: Where are we going to get this money?
Corgin: On the choo choo train.
Clint: The train doesn't have enough money.
Corgin: Grandma Kristi has money!
Clint: No, she doesn't have enough money either.
Corgin: I will earn money.
Clint: How do you think you're going to do that?
Corgin: By riding my green bicycle bike.
Clint: You'd have to do a lot of cool tricks if you want to make money that way.
Corgin: Yeah, I do cool tricks! I do back flips!
Clint: Great.
Everytime Corgin gets in trouble and Clint or I get after him, he will start crying and say, "I need a big ol' hug, gimme a big ol' hug!" Hard to stay mad at him for too long when all he wants is a 'big ol' hug'. He keeps us laughing.

Linkoln Update
Linkoln had his four month check-up yesterday. He is growing so quickly! He now weighs 14 lbs and 14 oz. He is in the 50th percentile for weight, and the 25th percentile for height at 24 in. The doc was also asking about his motor skills and was asking if he could roll over and scoot. He hadn't really rolled from back to front, but since we got home from the dr, he has done it three times and scooted a few feet. I guess the dr. gave him an idea and he decided to try it. I guess it can't be an accident if he's done it that many times either. Anyway, he is growing up way too fast and getting way too big. I won't be suprised if he outgrows Corgin soon. Love my boys!

Good News and Bad News
So, this morning Clint comes to me and says, "I've got some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that Corgin lost your place in your book. If you want to see the good news go look at the boys." This is what I saw.
Here is Corgin and Link with their cousin Tytan.

Finally a New Post
I know, it's been a while. Sorry. But here are some pics.
This morning I asked Corgin to watch Link for a few minutes. This is how he took care of his little brother. I love it!
These are just a few pics from a few days ago. I thought that I had lost them, but I guess I didn't. I think my boys are so sweet.
And I took my camera when we went camping, but then I forgot to take any pictures. We had a lot of fun. We got rained on the second night, and some of our stuff got wet, so since my Mom's house was only an hour away, we just went and slept there. Then, the last night we had to leave early because Clint had to go to work the next morning. A lot of traveling for a weekend camping. We had lots of fun though. Corgin had fun playing with his cousins and in the little creek. In fact, within minutes of us getting there he was in the creek, shoes, pants and all. Link just enjoyed staying in the shade and having fun. We all had a great time.

Boating and Summer Fun!
Well, we've been busy these last few weeks. We've been especially busy having fun in the water. Here are some pictures of all the excitement.
Clint's brother, Jake, came home from his mission this last week, so most of his family has been here and we've been partying. I didn't have my camera for some of it and I was kinda bummed. We picked him up at the SLC airport. Corgin and his cousin, Addi, held the sign and we attached balloons to them. It was pretty cute! Then, on Friday we all went boating. Here are a few pictures from that adventure, and there really is just a few - I wished I would have taken more.
When Clint's parents were gone picking up his brother, we took the boat out one day. Here are some pics of that.

Link's Stats
Anyway, since I'm making my blog into a book for journaling purposes, I'm also going to include a few little bits of info about my boys that I just love! Linkoln curls his toes when he eats and I think it is so cute. He is also smiling and cooing at us, especially in the mornings. He is a morning person, I guess. Corgin keeps us laughing all the time. He calls pool tables "golf ball tables" and has several nick names for Linkoln, like "Linkoln turtle", "Linkoln pie", and thanks to my brother, "Stinkin' Linkoln". Ha. He also can be so sweet. The other morning he came and crawled in bed with me and put his arm around me and said, "Corgin like Mommy." So I said, "Mommy loves Corgin." And then he asked, "Keep Corgin?" and I told him we would keep him, then he continued to ask me if we would keep Link and Mommy. After our little conversation he gave me the biggest hug. I loved it. I love being a mommy!
