Corgin likes to help me do the dishes. This is how he helps.

This one just makes me laugh! Taking pics with a kid is quite an experience.

Little Drummer Boy

This is what Corgin likes to do now. With a little help from Dad, of course, to put out the lids like a drum set. Also, here is another video of what he does all day. He has a little toy kaleidoscope which he puts in his mouth and walks around with all the time. He will breathe really loud out of it and sometimes make other sounds. It makes Clint and I laugh.

Here are some pictures of what Corgin has been up to. He keeps me laughing.

He usually just pulls the pan lids out of this drawer, but this morning he decided to climb inside. What a little busy body!

This is an early Christmas present from his Grandma Merri. He loves to ride on it and push it around.

Recently Corgin has learned how to clap and he loves to play "patty-cake". He got a little distracted by the camera when we took this video, but you get the point. I love it!

Alright, here are some pics of our house with some furnishings. We still haven't put up most of our pictures and wall hangings, but we are getting there. I got sick and was running some fevers last week, so it slowed us down a bit. We've got all our stuff in, so it's just a matter of getting it all organized and put away. It's nice to be in finally after all the work!

This is the living/family room. We bought a couch before we moved and it wasn't delivered until the week we left, so we hadn't even used it yet. We were excited to finally pull it out of the boxes.

Corgin loves vacuums! He's riding it here and whenever I run it he has to chase it. It makes me laugh! =)

My kitchen sink is way deep, so Corgin takes his bath in it sometimes. Here is one of those times. I like it because he can't splash near as much here as he does in the bathtub.

We have finished the master bathroom and bedroom, but the battery on my camera died before I got those pics. Those will come next post, I guess.

Halloween Party!

We had the yearly family Halloween party on Saturday, so here is a pic. Corgin was my little stinker and since Clint had to work, I went "stag." It was a fun party.

Also, we closed on Monday on our house so we've been busy moving in all week. Once we are all settled, I will post pics of our house. It's so exciting!

Time to Catch Up!

Well, I guess that I have a little catching up to do. I've been asked to post some more on my blog, so here is the awaited post. I have lots and lots of pics, so I hope you readers don't get too bored.
My mom has been driving beet truck this last month and we took Corgin along one day for a little ride. He loved driving it (just pretend, we were'nt moving if you couldn't tell by the girl outside the window).
Corgin liked to hit the steering wheel like he was honking the horn.
He loved watching the beets fall as they were unloaded off the piler.
Little Man was very tired after all this excitement.
Here is Corgin chillin' in his stroller while we work at the house. He is such a good boy and he is happy most of the time even though he either has to be in his stroller or his pack-n-play. He was being a little cheese for the camera this night.

Corgin's grandma Kristi recently gave him a new hat and we got him a new hoodie. We thought he looked pretty dang cute in them.

This is just one day when I caught him playing with his carseat.

There is a story that goes with this pic. I put Corgin's stroller in the living room while we were working because I figured he would like to play with it. He started on the floor playing and crawling around. The next thing I knew, he had crawled up onto his stroller and was bouncing so that is was rolling a little back and forth. I took the picture and then took his stroller away. He is such a little monkey. I always have to have my eye on him.

Here are just a few more shots of my house. This is in the master bedroom. We tried our hand at being creative and we actually like it. Luckily, we have a creative and wonderful artist in the family who came to our aid. Thanks ,Maddie!
This pic is for Tess. She wanted to see the fireplace now that it is all rocked, so here it is.
And last, but not least, this is what we did today. We tiled the backsplash in the kitchen. What a relief to have it done. Now all we have to do are tiny little jobs. We hope to be closeing and moving in by the end of the month. YAY!!!!

House Update 2008

We've been working like crazy on our house lately. We are getting very close to being done and I am excited to see the light at the end of the tunnel. We've been tiling lately along with painting. My in-laws have also been there to help all along the way. A big thanks to Brent and Kristi! We really appriciate all that you've done for us and all the help with the house.

Anyway, here are a lot of pics and beware, we have a very colorfull house, or so we've been told.

Here is what we've been tiling.

We also tiled the laundry room and back entry, I just forgot to get pics of that.

Here are the rooms we have painted. We are almost done with all the painting. It's a relief to know we're almost there.

Front entry. We still need to put up the stair railing.
Living room. All we need to do here is rock the fireplace.
Dining room. I know it's too dark to really see. I'll post another later.

Extra bedroom / massage room. Notice the pack-n-play, that is where Corgin hangs out while mom and dad work.
Laundry room.
The counter-top came yesterday, so here is my kitchen. All that's left in here to do is tile the backsplash and the electric. Also, the cabinet guy is supposed to come back and put on the crown molding around the top of the cabinets.

The plumbers came today and finished up (mostly) with all the plumbing.
Yes, that toilet works. Yay! And I need to change the lightbulbs so that my orange doesn't look so halloween-like. It's really not quite right in the pic.
